Since I started this site and started connecting historical context to my art, I’ve leaned heavily on educational resources to make sure that I’m fairly, respectfully and accurately speaking about my own Pamunkey tribal history and the history and culture of other tribes across the country. I am amazed by all of the Native American and Indigenous people doing the real work of organizing, supporting and educating the world on their peoples’ history, generational trauma and modern culture. I wanted to make sure that I included links to some of these resources along with organizations that rely on support from the community to continue their missions. We’ll keep this page updated as we find more valuable resources.
